Tammy got her start in the mortgage industry as a real estate professional. She quickly gained experience and ended up owning her own real estate company for 5 years in Anderson, Indiana. Even after she left the real estate company she was never very far away from the mortgage industry as she continued to work in it part-time while working in finance at local schools and managing the finances for a major corporation that leased commercial buildings.
After her father passed away in 1996, Tammy along with her brother and sister decided to open their own mortgage company in honor of their father. Thus GVC Mortgage, Inc. was born. GVC stands for Gene Voyles and Children.
In addition to being a part owner she has also been a loan processor, loan officer, underwriter, and an underwriter manager during her time at GVC Mortgage, Inc.
Tammy enjoys seeing how far GVC Mortgage, Inc. has come and is excited about the possibilities of expanding even more in the future.
